Roanoke Chiropractor Thoughts on Fibromyalgia
Written by on December 20, 2011 in Chiropractic
Fibromyalgia is a debilitating condition that effect many Americans today. Fibromyalgia means pain in the muscle fibers. The problem is that medically they can come up with no real cause of the problem. Patients with fibromyalgia can suffer with severe back pain, neck pain, joint pain, chronic fatigue, insomnia, light sensitivity, chronic urinary tract infections and headaches. Most people are given strong pain medications to help their symptoms but many times that does not help. Many patients with Fibromyalgia end up on Anti Depression medication.
The key to helping Fibromyalgia is finding out the cause of the problem and treating that. I am Dr Christopher Lauria D.C. and at Lifestyle Wellness Center in Roanoke, Va we specialize in helping people who suffer from this condition. We do specific testing of the nervous system to determine the cause of the problem. After we determine if we can help we set up personalized programs to help fibromyalgia patients by treating the cause. Our techniques are very light force with fibromyalgia patients because we recognize how sensitive to pain they are.
This video will explain some of the techniques we use. If you are interested in setting up a complimentary consultation to see if you are a candidate for our program just call our office at 54-725-9501 or click here.

Great information Dr. Lauria! I have been helping patients for 13 years who have suffered with fibromyalgia. Too many are told it’s in their head, or that no tests show anything that the medical doctors test for. With chiropractic, we can find the actual cause, not just the symptoms. By addressing these causes, many Fibromyalgia patients can once again enjoy their normal lives and daily activities.

If it gets severe there is obviously something going on there. You should get it checked to find out the cause. If there is anything we can do to help just call our office and we can set you up for the complimentary consultation to see if we can discuss your case. Hang in there
